New Compulsory Regulation On Visa Applications To UK

Henceforward, all applicants in Thailand intending to travel to the United Kingdom will have to use the internet to apply for visa.
According to the statement of UK Embassy, Since 2 May 2011, all applicants have to complete an online visa application form using the online visa application system only.

After completing the said form, the next step, each applicant also needs to book an appointment online to submit his/her biometric information and visa application at the UK visa application center in Bangkok.
This is a compulsory regulation that any applicant who fails to complete an online visa application form will not be able to submit his/her visa application.
The statement said that this new change is implemented globally with the purpose that all over the world applications shall submit visa application form to UK online by the end of 2012.
The statement also stated that online visa applications are advantageous in a sense of well-being that it saves time that would otherwise be spent in the queue at the visa office, but also that the online process streamlines visa operations.
